Aside from working at home on my day off, as usual, I’m working in some basic kicking drills towards the 20,000 today to start the New Year. The plan was to do them first thing this morning but the hot tub was at 64° and in need of topping off before it would heat. Now that it’s back up to a cozy 104° it’s time to bring the burn!
Doing kicks “in the air” isn’t exactly making my knee happy. I should probably just start thinking about a good time for that replacement surgery my orthopedic surgeon threatened me with now. Hopefully it’ll be better kicking an actual target once the WaveMaster arrives to decorate my living room (or wherever it ends up until the spring thaw and training outdoors)…
